 John Irvine,
Trumpet:
John Irvine is a 1990 graduate
of Saint Mary's College of Maryland majoring in Philosophy and Music. He studied
with Jeffrey Silberschlag, and performed with the St. Mary's College
Orchestra, the Maryland Bach Aria Group and the Tidewater Brass Quintet. John
has performed on trumpet with the Maryland Symphony, Artists Against Hunger,
and is currently a member of the Hopkins Symphony Orchestra.
By
day, John is a strategic planner for the Maryland Department of Juvenile
Services. By night he also plays guitar, sings, records and writes songs for
The Jennifers (www.thejennifers.com),
as well as playing guitar in sundry other bands.
In
his rare spare time, John enjoys restoring and riding vintage Italian motor
scooters.
